Adaptor type fiber optic attenuator / fixed bulkhead type / fixed female to female fiber attenuator has a similar structure of a female to female standard fiber adapter. Adapter type attenuator is simple, low-cost and compact. It is recommended for use where return loss is not a concern nor is absolute attenuation value.
